Molly is a young English girl been sent to rural France to learn French and get work experience. Her mother think it is best for her to stay with her Aunt Sybil, who Molly has only met once as a baby. Although it starts all well over a few days Sybil becomes more controlling and turns Molly's experience into a life and death game, made into a twisted game show. Throughout the trailer there are different filters between shots to distinguish between live shots and gameshow footage.
Last scene shows a random family watching TV and camera on the back of their heads to show them watching Molly screaming on the TV.
Ideas
Girl looking at aunty through the door doing something really weird, and she suddenly looks.
Molly gets given food with maggots in, seeming normal to the Aunt. This makes Molly starve and seem to go crazy.
There is a stranger who knocks at the door which Molly opens the door hoping to escape but the Aunt slams it shut again.
Molly comes home one day to find blood on her bed sheets, also seems to be normal to the Aunt.
Top line:
A young girl visits France to find work experience and goes to stay with her aunt who she has not seen since she was an infant. Over each day the aunt becomes more and more controlling which soon turns into a more serious threat to Molly. The aunt is clearly psychopathic as she makes Molly's stay with her a life and death experience. Towards the end of the trailer we also learn that the entire time this was being made into a sick and twisted game show.
The Big Question
Will Molly escape?
Location
Back of white cottage that looks like door next to meadow outside

Your group's treatment is framed rather like The Truman Show in that your protagonist is unwittingly the subject of a cruel 'reality TV' experience. This is most intriguing. You have the opportunity to develop many of the thriller and horror conventions, and I can see that you have already sketched out some of these. Promising treatment.
