Brief 2:
A promotional package for a new film, to include a trailer, together with a film magazine front cover, featuring the film and a poster for the film.
Our trailer is immediately below. My individual film magazine cover and individual poster are above.
All my research and planning follow below on the main blog roll, in reverse order starting with the latest first. To present my research and planning I have used a wide variety of platforms and tools including SlideShare, Pinterest, Emaze, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Prezi.
My evaluation is above under found Pages. Clicking on each tab will show the research and planning that went into my responses to these questions.
To present my responses, I have used the following platforms:
Question 1: Video annotations
Question 2: Piktochart
Question 3: Bubble texts
Question 4: Slideshare

I took charge of filming the shot of Dominika's eye looking through the door, the shot of the bloody hand on the white sheet and the close up shot of the maggots and the mouldy plate with the french toast on.  We all edited the trailer together as a group, discussing where we should cut certain parts and how to put it together. We also all made the inter titles together, writing down different suggestions to come up with the perfect words to add to the trailer. We wrote the script for the voice over together as a group to bring the trailer together to make sense.

CONSTRUCTION: GREEN SCREEN

Today we were taught how to use a green screen for our filming to show a variety of different technologies. We set the green screen using two tripods and a black frame which we hung the green screen on.

To film our work we used an iPad to film through using the app Green Screen by Doink. We used the background form previous footage that we filmed which was a window and used Molly to look out of it. The green screen was not seen as anything green in the show was destroyed and was replaced with our window footage. You can have up to three layers of footage or images. The video can be saved as 1080p or 720p.

PLANNING: RISK ASSESSMENT

Before we went to film the water scenes we had to fill out a risk assessment on where we were filming and what could have gone wrong and what we were going to do as it was off school grounds.

PLANNING: STORYBOARD

Our group made a storyboard for our trailer to help us plan the scenes and the shots we were going to film and the order we wanted to edit them in.

PLANNING: OUR INTERTITLES

These are the inter titles we have chosen to go in our trailer, by having the black background and the bold white writing would make an impact as it stands out between each shot. By having three one words such as TRAPPED, TERRIFIED and TWISTED would go well with the fast pace trailer to build tension.

PLANNING: CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

In Charlie Sierra's website Film Escape, he refers to approaches to character development by the an award winning by film maker Pen Denham in his book 'Riding the Alligator'. He mentions about how to get to know our characters. He writes about how we should think of it like a questionnaire which the characters need to fill out. We are going to do character interviews so we get to know the background story of our characters and our film.
However, we are going to 'hot seat' protagonist (Molly) in a therapy session a year after the events in the French house. We decided on a therapy session as she is traumatised from what happened.
